Our Annual Awards

Category CEO's Message

Our Annual awards events are usually one of the highlights on our calender, this year we had to celebrate differently and distantly.

Looking back over the year, I realised that there were a number of silver linings. It was not only a good year when it came to growing our footprint. Nationally, we achieved a total of R3.2 billion and an 8% year on year increase in sales.

Why should you be interested in the very many awards we give out to our agents? Well, a healthy company is able to provide you with the very best service and good agents, who are recognised for their professionalism and achievements, will be the ones that streamline your buying or selling experience.
That is why I encourage all of you to take note of the awards that you will find proudly displayed on walls when you next visit one of our offices.

Although I do not have the space to list every one of the 160 awards that we gave out, I would like to highlight a few important ones.

Tyson's Top Achiever Award went to Ryan Johnson, from the Western Seaboard office in the Western Cape. This is the second time Ryan has achieved this award.
The Chappy Brain Pinnacle Award - which is named after my mother who not only supported her family through real estate but instilled in me the very thing that the Tyson brand stands for - strong ethics, a caring approach, hard work, support for clients and colleagues, a focused approach, always doing the right thing and being the best that you can be - is another award that indicates the depth of professionalism that you can expect from Tyson Properties. We only present this award to those who have been with the company for five years and who embody these values. This year, we recognized six exceptional individuals - Mary Mutch, Nick Barstow, Wendy Daniel, Pam Dimmick, Michael Bester and Arthur Sierra

Our dedicated administrators are the backbone of our business and the Administrator of the Year Award went to Cherise King in our Western Seaboard office.

Some of our other highlights:
The Top office of the year Award - This award is not based on turnover but is judged on a number of criteria such as - Office appearance and upkeep - Dealings with head office & submission of information -Boarding in an area - Advertising and PR - Profitability - Retention of agents - Telephone manner at reception - Sales averages per agent - Overall perception of office in the area - Quality of Administrative Staff - Overall pride of the Tyson Brand, the Top office in each region is;
Top Office Gauteng = Greater Johannesburg
Top office KZN, Non-Metro = Richards Bay
Top office KZN, Metro = Westville
Top office Western Cape = Western seaboard
And this year's winner of the Tyson Properties Top Office Nationally is the Western Seaboard
Our dream award is awarded to an all-round achiever who consistently achieves and deals with every curve ball thrown. His positivity, dedication and marketing drive shines through. He enhances our brand ethos and image both internally and externally. This year awarded to Murray Haywood.

We will strengthen the platform we have created and deliver even better service to you, our valued buyers and sellers.

Stay Safe, Stay Apart, Stay United. Let's Talk.
