I have always lived in KwaZulu-Natal and attended Maritzburg College and Natal University where I obtained a BSc (Agric). I also have a post graduate business diploma from UNISA.

I have an agricultural background, working in the sugar industry until 1995 when I moved into property. With Tongaat-Hulett I was based at Mt Edgecombe and was responsible for all the sugarcane in and around the Umhlanga area which is now the land under development.

In 1995 I moved into property development, thereafter into sales, initially with another reputable agency (where I achieved Diamond Agent Status) and since 2011 with Tyson Properties.

Because of my development background I work entirely on developments, focusing since 2002 on Somerset Valley Estate, The Executive since its launch in 2008 and more lately also on Kindlewood Estate. Together with my partner, we were top agents in the Umhlanga branch 2 years in a row, in 2014 and 2015. We also achieved platinum status.
